I was thrilled when I found your magazine while surfing the net. I subscribed within 5 minutes!. I haven't stopped looking at it since I received Issue 1.

I am sending details of the sampler I made my sister Margaret, for her new home. I wanted to make it look as "antique" as possible by making it higgledy-piggledy. I used your book "Beginner's Guide to Blackwork" for most of the motives, adapting a few of them as I thought needed, and worked the design on 14ct Aida using DMC thread and beads. The dragonfly was a pattern I kept for some years, and as Margaret os fond of dragonflies it seemed the perfect opportunity to use it. I enjoyed working this sampler and was pleased with the result.

This magazine is very useful and highly informative and I really appreciate the great work you are putting in to bring out this winderful magazine. I am learning a lot through Antique Sampler Stitcher and am really very thankful to you for helping people like me who do not have access or facilities to learn much about samplers.

I am delighted to learn that very soon you are going to bring out a magazine on Blackwork. Actually, I learnt blackwork only with the help of your book for beginners.

Where I live, Chennai in Tamil Nadu, State of India, people are interested in embroidery on clothes, saris etc. Samplers are not very popular here. I would like to transfer some of the designs from the samplers to dresses.

I do not get needlework magazines here and the cost of getting them by mail is exorbitant, and there is a lot of delivery lapses. Your digital magazine is really a great boon to me.

All I can say is......about time too. There's not enough, if any, magazines on samplers, and thank goodness for yours. I bought Issue 6 first, and then without any hesitation, went back and got the rest.
